Aksam was established in 1993. From the very beginning, it has been operating as a family company. Our story began with the production of Beskidzkie Paluszki (Beskidzkie Sticks), which has been strengthening their position on the FMCG market in Poland year after year. Today, Aksam is one of the most popular Polish companies offering savoury snacks. Our offer includes among others: sticks, crackers, crisps, chips, nuts, popcorn, products for children and sweet snacks.
We respect our history, tradition and the region, from which we have evolved. At the same time, we are an advanced and modern company operating on based oninnovative processes and applying state-of-the-art technologies. We continue to learn and improve our products and processes. The implemented standardization provides the repeatability of what we have considered excellent. Our key focus is on quality and safety, are our core values.
We are the company of mutual respect, empathy, partnership and honesty. The respect is demonstrated both in the relations between the Staff and respect for the environment, our Counterparties, traditions, local community or resources we have. In 2023 we completed the second stage of investment aimed at energy self-sufficiency. At present, our photovoltaic farm of capacity of 475 kW supplies our production plants with clean solar energy.
By the end of 2024 we intend to launch another installation of more than 500 kW capacity, which will give us the total capacity of nearly 1,000 kW!
We use heat recovery from gas furnace for baking our products. The produced heat is used to heat up utility water and central heating of the buildings in the winter season. We also operate our own wastewater neutralization station enabling us to discharge wastewater of relevant pH to the sewage system to pose no threat to the environment.
WE FIGHT FOR THE PLANET! Our aim is that our label is a clean label. We continue to analyse the scientific releases on the raw materials used to make our products and verify their impact on human health.
98.9% of products without palm oil. We strive to replace palm oil with the Polish rape oil in our products.
99.9% of products of low saturated fatty acid content.
92% of foil is recyclable. We aim to ensure recycling of all our packaging. At the current stage, all our collective packaging is 100% recyclable and a large part of them is obtained from recovered materials.
