The 88th edition of Southeast Europe’s largest agricultural and food fair, Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair, took place in Novi Sad, Serbia, from 18 to 24 September this year. At this fair, the National Support Centre for Agriculture organised a Polish national stand promoting the Polish agricultural and food sector for the first time.
At the Polish stand, 6 Polish companies were present as sub-exhibitors offering poultry meat products, milk powders, dairy products, hazelnuts, teas, and equipment for juice and concentrate production.
The Polish stand was officially opened by the Polish Ambassador to Serbia, Mr Rafał Perl. It was also visited by the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Ms Tatjana Matić, and the President of the Government of Vojvodina, Mr Igor Mirović.
The fair was an excellent opportunity for Polish entrepreneurs from the food sector to establish new business contacts and to present Poland as a significant producer and exporter of agricultural and food products.
