Polish national stand at the Foodex Saudi 2023 fair in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

On 17–20 September 2023, the tenth jubilee edition of the Foodex Saudi fair, one of leading international food and drink fairs in the Near East, was held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The National Support Centre for Agriculture, in accordance with the strategy specified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as part of implementing measures aimed at promoting Polish agri-food products in foreign markers, organised the national stand under the slogan “Poland tastes good”.
On the national stand, the Polish companies presented their export offer, i.e. sweets (including vegan sweets), breakfast products, milk powder, rice wafers, oat porridges, bakery products, spices, herbs, freeze dried fruit mixes, superfoods, dietary supplements, tea, coffee, fresh and frozen fruit and vegetables.
The Polish national stand was visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Saudi Arabia, Mr Robert Rostek and the EU Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, Mr Christophe Farnaud.
It should be stressed that the Polish stand was one of the five national pavilions representing the European Union and European countries. The stand enjoyed great interest and the participation in the fair was an excellent opportunity to establish business contacts with potential contractors, both from the KSA and other countries of that region.
