On 7-11 October 2023, another edition of the Anuga fair, one of the largest food and beverage fairs in Europe and the world, was held in Cologne, Germany.
The National Support Centre for Agriculture, in accordance with the strategy defined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as part of implementing measures promoting Polish agri-food products in foreign markets, organised in three sectoral halls (high-quality food, beverages, dairy products) national stands under the slogan “Poland tastes good”.
Visitors to the fair had an opportunity to become familiar with a wide range of Polish products such as dairy products, eggs and egg powders, fruit and vegetables and their products, including freeze-dried fruit, honey, beverages, including BIO and NFC juices, innovative collagen drinks, cider, syrups, tea, coffee, mushrooms (dried mushrooms and mushroom products), sweets, including vegan and eco sweets, cereal products, fish products and condiments.
One of the Polish companies exhibiting its products at the national stand was awarded the prize in the Anuga Innovation Show competition for “Hexakrem pistacjowy” included in the company’s offer.
According to preliminary estimates, this year’s edition of the fair gathered 7,900 exhibitors from 118 countries, including 248 exhibitors from Poland. More than 140 thousand people from 200 countries visited the fair during five days.
The event was a unique opportunity to promote Polish food and establish business contacts by Polish companies interested in selling domestic products to markets all over the world.
