From 23-25 April 2023, the seventh edition of the FRESKON International Fruit and Vegetable Fair was held in Thessaloniki, Greece. During this event, the National Support Centre for Agriculture organised an information stand for the second time with Polish entrepreneurs’ participation. The Polish Pavilion, together with the National Support Centre for Agriculture, included stands of the Polish Embassy in Athens and the Greek-Polish Chamber of Industry and Investment.
The Polish Ambassador, Artur Lompart, and Kyriakos Pozrikidis, the Managing Director of TIF-Helexpo, formally opened the Polish Pavilion in Athens. Following the opening ceremony, the Polish Ambassador held talks with exhibitors and business representatives in the Polish Pavilion. Representatives from the Greek authorities, led by Georgios Georgantas, the Minister of Rural Development and Food, along with business representatives, recognised and enthusiastically visited the Polish Pavilion.
The FRESKON fair is one of the largest events of its kind in the Balkans and South-Eastern Europe. The Polish presence at FRESKON was highly appreciated by the organisers and caught the attention of the fair visitors.
