The Food Africa Cairo 2021 international trade fair was held in Cairo (Egypt) from 12 to 14 December 2021. It is the largest agri-food fair in Egypt and one of the largest international trade fairs in the industry on the African continent.
For the fourth time, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) – within the framework of foreign promotional activities approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development – organised a national stand with an area of 120 m2 at the Food Africa Cairo fair.
10 Polish entrepreneurs presented their export offers. The Polish national stand promoted among others: fresh fruit and vegetables, especially Polish apples, dairy products, eggs, sweets and nuts, meat products and food additives.
Additionally, in the form of a showroom, the Polish stand presented the product offer of another ten Polish companies: sweets, fruit and juices, snacks, breakfast cereals and black raspberry syrups.
On the first day of the fair, an event called “Polish Food Day” was held to promote the Polish offer at the fair, organised by the PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Cairo and the National Support Centre for Agriculture.
In addition, Polish entrepreneurs had the opportunity to visit three retail chains in Cairo: Kheir Zaman Market, Al-Othaim Market and Carrefour, as part of the so-called store-check organised by the KOWR.
The great interest in the Polish exhibitors’ offer and the numerous business talks held by Polish entrepreneurs during the fair can attest to the great success of the Polish appearance at Food Africa Cairo 2021.
The next edition of this event will be held in 2022.
