Following the strategy outlined by the Polish Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in order to promote Polish agri-food products at international fairs, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) once again had the opportunity to participate in Annapoorna Anufood India 2022, one of the largest food fairs in India, which took place from 14 to 16 September 2022 in Mumbai.
The Polish stand arranged by the KOWR under the brand “Poland Tastes Good”, with a total area of 90 m2, presented six Polish companies which offer, among other things, gluten-free products, sweets, milk powder, bakery and confectionery grains, poultry meat and fruit. The exhibited Polish products were very popular with visitors.
The Polish stand was opened by Mr. Jarosław Groberek, Chargé d’affaires a.i., Mr. Damian Irzyk, Polish Consul General in Mumbai, and Mr. Tomasz Janczak, representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at the Polish Embassy in New Delhi.
Tastings and live cooking demonstrations by Polish chefs, organized by the KOWR for every day of the fairs, enhanced the appeal of the Polish stand and its agri-food products.
The KOWR stand was co-financed under the “Promotion of Polish economy based on Polish brands – Polish Economy Brand – Sub-measure 3.3.2 of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020”.
