Another edition of Foodex Japan, one of the largest international fairs of the food industry in the country, was held from 8 to 11 March 2022 in Tokyo, Japan.
As part of foreign promotional activities approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the National Support Centre for Agriculture once again organised the Polish national stand with an area of 54 m2 at the fair. Due to the current epidemiological situation, entrepreneurs could not present their offer at the Polish stand in person. Nevertheless, visitors to the fair could get acquainted with the product offers of 9 Polish companies representing the following product groups: gluten-free products, sweets, functional sweets, processed vegetables, granolas, rice wafers, corn wafers, cereal biscuits, spices in bags, jars, mills and tubes, mustards, sauces, oatmeal, milk and whey powder products, butter, cheese, egg products and products in the “healthy food” category.
As in the previous year, the Polish stand was held by representatives of the Polish Embassy and the PAIH Foreign Trade Office in Tokyo, who presented the Polish agri-food sector and provided information on the Polish product offer.
Polish export offer enjoyed a relatively high interest and the contacts established will remain an excellent opportunity for further business talks.
