Polish national stand at the THAIFEX Anuga Asia 2024 fair

From 28 May to 1 June 2024, the next edition of the international THAIFEX Anuga Asia food industry fair – one of the largest food fairs in Southeast Asia – took place in Bangkok, Thailand.

In accordance with the strategy defined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as part of the implementation of activities promoting Polish agri-food products on foreign markets, the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) organised once again at the aforementioned fair a Polish national stand under the slogan “Poland tastes good”. Visitors to the Polish stand could get familiar with the Polish export offer that included: dairy products, poultry meat, fruit and vegetables, sweets, protein and vegan snacks, dietary supplements, herbs, fruit juices and syrups, and sturgeon caviar.

The Polish stand was opened by Anna Radwan-Röhrenschef, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, and Artur Dmochowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Thailand, together with representatives of the National Support Centre for Agriculture.

Each day of the fair, culinary shows and tastings conducted by Polish chefs were organised at the Polish national stand to introduce the flavours of Polish cuisine as well as culinary tradition and culture to fair visitors.

On the eve of the fair, a Polish-Thai Business Forum was held, during which companies had the opportunity to carry out business talks and establish commercial cooperation.
